This audit will aid the CISI in becoming an educated resource with regard to lowering energy use, reducing the cost of energy for residents, examining alternate energy possibilities for the islands, and, ultimately, preserving our beautiful, unique, and healthy environment.
The Cranberry Isles Renewable Energy Study
The task now at hand, is to work together as a community to best utilize the wealth of human, financial and environmental capital located within our shores. By conducting a town-wide renewable energy study, the community will gain the information, tools and contacts necessary to effectively plan a strategy for a local and sustainable energy future.
